How to Add or Remove Inbox Categories and tabs in Gmail

    Gmail provides amazing feature in your account, Gmail is commonly arranged into various categories such as primary, social, updates, promotions and forums. These categories help you simply access all your emails as per their categories. If you need to add or remove inbox categories & tabs in Gmail account. Here you can follow the below steps:  

    1. Start your device and go to the Gmail.com

    2. Click on the settings page and the inbox tab.

    3. Under the inbox section, choose default. Note: To hide all tabs, select another inbox type.

    4. In the "Categories" section, check the boxes of tabs you need to show. Note: You can't make new tabs; you can only show and hide existing ones.

    5. Now, Scroll to the bottom, then click Save Changes.

    Note: If you've turned on notifications, you'll only get notifications about emails in your Primary category.
